On Dwelling

In this hyper-stimulating world that we live in, I find it increasingly difficult to remember to dwell.

Being fully present in any given moment. Mindful. Aware.

Whatever you choose to call it, the intention is the same. To be.

Today I want to encourage you to try and tune out all the noise of life for a few moments. Be still. Breathe. Focus simply on what is directly in front of you.

Listen...to your own heart, to God's, to a friend's...

Feel...the ebb and flow, the depth of life, in nature around you...

Enjoy the beautiful richness that you'll discover there. Revel in it, and receive the gift of renewal that taking time to dwell extends to you with open hands.

  1. Beautiful pictures!!!! This is the third post that has encouraged me to slow down and be still this morning! I'll follow the advice for sure. :)
