Beauty.
Who could hope to define such a vast, expansive word?
The way we each define beauty is living inside of our very soul.
It is in our eyes.
It is in our hearts.
It can grow, and develop, and change.
And sadly, it can be shaped into someone elses mold.
But you know. You know when that inexpressible thrill permeates your entire being in the presence of a beautiful thing. The kind of beauty that ministers to you.
Free of comparison. Free of judgement. Free of perfection.
Natural. Unbridled.
That kind of beauty doesn't make you look within and feel inadequate, it makes your spirit soar!
Such beauty surrounds us everyday. But often, our eyes aren't looking for it, and our feet don't know how to stop to soak it in.
Where is the beauty found in your day today? In a hug, in a song, in a flower, in the sky, in a mug, on a page, in a friend, in a field, from your garden, in a thought, or a memory, through your lens, on a ride, in a plan?
Open your eyes, retrain your mind to tune into to the way your heart sees beauty, and soak it in...
This is so beautifully written, Kristin!
