Our Mother's Day celebration this year was held under the ironwood tree, down by the brook here at Windy Poplars. One advantage to having both of our moms in the same town, is that both families were able to come and share a common meal. It was lovely catching up with everyone while giving the moms a day off. The lazy afternoon breezes danced around us, and the nephews played in the water. Simple. Relaxed. A most enjoyable Sunday afternoon in spring.
